The mixtape to ignite the buzz for French Montana, for me as a fan would have to be Mister 16: Casino Life. Released in 2011, with the hottest single out at the time “Shot Caller”, was the jam of the Summer, no debate. This week’s throwback Thursday comes from the Coke Boy French Montana “Shot Caller” featured on the mixtape hosted by DJ Holiday.
I definitely can remember playing this mixtape until I got tired of it, other jams on the tape were “I Think I Love Her”, “Call It Dat” and a few other tracks. But check out the video above and I’m sure fun memories come to mind for you when this song was hot on the charts.
