Yelawolf’s newest single “American You” is a smooth mix of hip-hop and country music. “American You” has a sweet summer day vibe to it, with Yela’s own ‘Fuck You’ attitude mixed in. A good feel music video shot around the country side, including a scene with Travis Barker playing drums in the back of a pickup track, behind Yelawolf on the microphone in the middle of a field. The song and video make for a definite hit single, great to play rolling down the road in your pick-up on a sunny day.
