We saw another victim of the mask Wednesday night by the name of Russell Westbrook who emerged like a hero with a huge stat line. The heroics came just five days after undergoing surgery to repair a fractured zygomatic arch bone causing Russell to miss Sunday’s game against the Lakers. He came out against the Philadelphia Sixers tonight posting 49 points, 10 assists, 16 rebounds in the Thunder’s 123 – 118 overtime win. Westbrook is now the last player to have four consecutive triple doubles since Michael Jordan did it back in 1989.
