It’s Throwback Thursday which brings me back to the classic track by Nas, “I Can.” This song was introduced as the second single off the God’s Son album, and was released internationally April of 2003.
The lyrics are uplifting, encouraging the youth to stay drug-free, and pursue their dreams. Nas also delivers various events of African culture that is part of history. The positive vibe continues to run strong when listening to this track and the meaning behind it will still touch individuals everywhere.
