I first discovered Futuristic as an internet sensation. He caught my attention doing a comedy sketch where he dresses up as nerdy as possible and pretends he’s rapping for his first time, only to amaze his onlookers of his skill. After seeing the talent he displayed I ventured further into the artist’s background. Coming from Illinois and still in his early 20s, this artist has lots of potential. He has a way of combining words and rhymes that not many others can do. The witty humor in his bars had me pausing just to comprehend his punchlines, and cracking up right after. Futuristic is an artist with a great cadence, a subtle sense of humor, great delivery, and more. If he keeps up with the hard work I think he could show some very promising things to the future of hip-hop. I’m interested to see how his new project “The Rise” turns out come release date.
