My very first week as a contributor to BlogOrDie I received an email from an artist named Chox-Mak(Chose-Mack) whose music and beat selection right from the jump gave me the sense that only the best was yet to come. Now today almost two years later it’s still the same process, and out come. Each time my email goes of on my phone with Chox’ name in the subject line I know some heat is about to be flowing through my ear phones. This time it’s no different , with long existing track record of having an unstoppable #90s flow vibe and impeccable lyricism the homie Chox-Mak teamed up once again with the incomparable Bunty Beats(U.K.) to drop “Dictate The Mic”. A few days ago when I received the song in my email and jammed it I immidiately hit up Chox and mentioned that with this quality of track I expected someone like Nas to pull up with a verse on the same beat as well. It is hard now a days to find an artist who doesn’t need a gimmick or over the top style to get the attention of his listeners, and one could easily say that its undoubtedly refreshing to have an artist and producer duo like Mak and Bunty keeping that vibe alive. There are a lot of moving parts in motion as we speak for the future of Chox-Mak , all I can say is stay tuned and wake up. Get you some 90’s flow goodness in your life.
