Every year in March the music/media/tech world finds it self in Austin, Tx for the annual SXSW(south by south-west) Music, film , and technology festival. The last week is host to a slew of musical performances from the up-and-coming to the solidified major stars. Taylor Gang has in the last few years had a foot hold on the festivals numerous stages, and this year is no different. This year TGOD Veteran Chevy Woods decided to show some mad love for Texas as he makes his way through his festival performances at SXSW by releasing a 5 track EP produced by none other than The Real Ricky P aka Ricky Tan entitled ‘SXSW I Love Texas’. The EP what Chevy Woods describes as:

Now as a Texan born and raised and having jammed the album while rolling around town this release has definitely made for some good company, from the slappin 808 moving bass lines, to the slowed down throw back shout out to Houston, Texas and the chop and screw world(RIP Pimp C). The Chevy x Ricky P collaborations are quickly becoming my favorite out right now, and these tracks will stay in my headphones during my days at SXSW this year for sure.
