Today Chevy Woods dropped the video for his single “Now That I’m Up“. Taylor Gang’s street spitter has come through with another banger. Sledgren and RMB Justize put together a sick beat for Chevy on this one and he took full advantage of it. The beat is a hot, unique, trap type beat. The perfect type of beat for him to get comfortable and vibe with. Chevy brings his street talk on this one, flexing on these fools throughout the jam talking that shit. He does it using sick rhymes and wordplay that will be missed if you aren’t paying attention. The cadence he uses on this beat makes the song THAT much better. Chevy has become great at finding the right cadence and flows, resulting in catchier songs. The visuals for this are incredibly dope. We all know that Chev comes from the streets, the jungle. Well this video really shows it. You see him rolling deep and ready for war throughout the video. There are scenes of him with goons all on sports-bikes, there are scenes of Chevy in the boonies with a baseball bat….. Needless to say the thug side of Chevy Woods showed up for “Now That I’m Up“. Chevy has been progressing at a very fast speed and it wont be long before these mixtape bangers become Billboard Top 100 material. Chevy Woods is killing the game and I don’t see any signs of him slowing up.
